Awnings and Casements

Purpose

While sliders may be the most common window on the market, this does not mean that they are they only windows that can be opened. Casement and awning windows are exceptional when it comes to security, visibility, and weatherproofing. You can even keep an awning window open in a light rain, and have no moisture enter.

Features

Though casement and awning windows are typically more expensive, they make up for their price tag with their unique features and benefits:

Unique Features

  • Increased visibility
  • Weather resistance
  • Nesting fold with stainless steel roto
  • Natural design to decrease security threats

Superior Features

  • Exterior trim
  • Extensive colour palette, from light to dark finishes
  • Low-e and argon-gas sealed units
  • Bug screens

Right for you!

Casement windows open from two side hinges, making them fantastic for ventilation in warm climates. With clear visibility, they are ideal for placement alongside fixed windows to allow for an unobstructed outlook from you home. With the stainless-steel roto-operator, it has never been easier to open a window.

Awnings

Awning windows open with two top hinges, creating an awning effect, hence the name. This design enables you to have them marginally open during rain and have the inside stay dry. Their clear, open pane also allows for great visibility and unobstructed views.

Casement

Casement windows open from two side hinges, making them fantastic for ventilation in warm climates. As they have only one pane of glass, warm air stays inside during the colder months.
